Routeburn Photo Gallery

  
The Routeburn Track is one of the Great Walks in New Zealand. The track is typically done in 3 days and 2 nights and can be done as a circuit in conjunction with the Greenstone or Caples Tracks.
The Routeburn Gorge and Bridal Veil Falls can be reached as an easy 2hr return daywalk on the Routeburn Track. This section of the wide, well maintained track is suitable for most fitness levels.
The Routeburn Flats is an easy and accessible option for people wanting to do a daywalk on the Routeburn. Walking time is approximately 4hrs return.
Routeburn Flats is a gentle, relaxed daywalk suitable for most every fitness level. In less than 2 hours, you can get from the Routeburn Shelter Carpark to the Routeburn Flats Hut. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the stunning scenery.
The Routeburn Flats Hut has bunk accommodation for up to 20 people. Bookings are essential during walking season (Oct until end April)
The kitchen at the Routeburn Flats Hut is equipped with gas cooking facilities and running water.
The Routeburn Flats Hut has plenty of seating and windows with spectacular views over the Routeburn Flats. Long tables and benches give you the opportunity to compare stories from the track with other trampers.

Routeburn Track   

The Routeburn Track traverses 32 kilometres of Mount Aspiring and Fiordland National Parks, part of Te Wāhipounamu – South West New Zealand World Heritage Area and is administered by the Department of Conservation on behalf of the New Zealand public.
